While a lot of initiatives has been planned, a beginning has been made with the commissioning of a project by the name "Women Leaders in Cashew Industry" in July 2015. The aim of the project is to celebrate successful women entrepreneurs and leaders and share their success stories with the rest of the world. This would not only encourage a lot of women to take on leadership role but also help us learn the unique challenges and difficulties that women leaders face in cashew sector.
ACi (now Com Cashew), Caronut and Technoserve supported the initiative financially as well as by organising women leaders in each of the African countries. Their stories are presented in the book.
